Chemical properties

Colorless or white cubic crystals. Odorless, with a strong, salty taste. Soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, methanol, acetone, glycerin and liquid ammonia, slightly soluble in ether. Its aqueous solution is neutral or slightly alkaline.

Use
